Eligibility Criteria

Degree Requirements

Interns must be currently enrolled in a tertiary education programme, ideally with a focus on GIS, geography, computer science, or related fields.

Work Rights

Interns are to be a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid New Zealand Work Visa that allows full-time work during the internship period.

Deadlines

Applications open in July and close in August.

Selection Process
  • ​Once applications have closed, ALL the applications will be reviewed.
  • If we shortlist you, you will be required to complete a short video interview
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual interview to discuss your background, interests, and alignment with the internship.
  • If you aren’t selected, we will let you know via email.
  • If you are offered a job, we will notify you by phone and then complete a reference check and then send you a formal offer.
